In my pocket, I have a a device that is connected to an intangible world, called the internet; my eyes are constantly glued a 24 inch aluminum rectangle covered in thousands of tiny light bulbs called LEDs showing me pictures, video, and sound across the world in a matter of milliseconds; my feet are covered in synthetic materials so the actual flesh on my feet does not touch man-made liquid rock, you know, the ones that hardened over a short period of time, that covers our cities; I use a light collecting device that seemingly collects light where there is only darkness; I work with people across the globe which I’ve never met and our lives are only connected through under sea cables which light is the means of transporting information!
We are in the future.
