Day #199 – The infamous toolbox-warehouse-Philly bowl. Detail of the bigger section transition. While we were skating one night, a bunch of the guys were replacing a worn piece of top layer plywood. The black and white helps to show how many different varieties make up the ramp. Some of the lighter pieces are fresher, while the darker heavier grain pieces are older and worn.

Day #184 – Note to reader* this apartment is trashed because of two hobos who will take over your couch, air mattress, floor, and balconies. They will keep you from working, from eating regularly, from the everyday, the drab, the ordinary.

Usually the apartment is much neater. You can still get the sense of floor to ceiling windows, the amount of light, wood floors, and balcony – all really amazing qualities of a nice pad. Imagine waking up with the sun and feeling very awake – with the day around you every morning. No need for blinds – immediate connection with the outside world.

Day #182 – Not gonna lie, I know nothing about vinyl toys. In fact, probably calling them “toys” is not the correct lingo. Whatever. Deal with it. These vinyl figures are part of Jacob Chill’s collection. Jacob’s army of vinyls spans a few bookshelves in his Charlotte apartment. The marker, brush, and flat brush caught my eye – as I was once a wanna be writer and tried my hand at can control. Let’s just say I started cutting stencils because my skills were a bit rough.

I like being surrounded by inspirational and interesting decor – so the following images are what I found interesting in Jacob’s space. All things in his collection that help to establish his flat’s identity and make up his personality.
