How early did we, as a species, come up with the concept of ‘art’ and ‘color’ to the point where we always look towards a setting sun with such majesty and awe? I’m sure we’ll never find out… but I do have to say that the sunsets as of late in southern california have been utterly stunning. Springtime feels like it is coming a lot earlier this year!

During the day, I work in an architecture firm as a graphic designer/marketing/all around art dude. On occasion, I have the opportunity to photograph some of our projects. This is one of them.

The past few days in Southern California have been absolutely gorgeous. We’ve been blessed with temperature in the floating around 80°F, and the beach today was especially gorgeous. The seas were calm, the clouds were perfect, and there was a light breeze in the air. It felt like the perfect summer day but in the dead of winter. Sorry, East Coast. : (
