Day 120 – The Perfect Plunge

The perfect day can only be complimented by the perfect plunge into the the perfect water. I took the plunge into the water right after Will. The height caught me by surprise. I felt like I was flying for more than a few seconds. You don’t realize actually how far you’re falling from until you’re actually falling.

The water was brisk and it awoke every sense in my body. In that very second, I felt truly alive.

Day 116 – Reflections on a Perfect Day

Day #116 – There are few days I’d ever use the word “perfect” to describe. Not because of my outlook on life, but because I am incredibly ambitious and no twenty four stretch ever seems to be able to contain all that I want to achieve.

Today was perfect. The clouds were animals. The water was brisk and flowing like a proper spring day. When you look down and are about to jump into a pool of water 20 some feet below you – and you see an image like this – a sigh and a smile is about all you can achieve. What else do you really need?
