This is the view that I see everyday when I pull up at my parking spot at work. I’m always reminded of Monet’s study on the Rouen Cathedral whenever I see these hills because I’m able to witness the color, shadow, and light changes throughout the day. Some days, it is hidden behind the smog, other days (especially after a day of rain) you can see it as clear as day. This morning, the hills had an ominous mood to them. As of Sauron was marching his army of Orcs across the hills to invade Irvine, California!

Because you know, Irvine has to much that Sauron wants, right?
