What is it about the late 2000s, the years that had no personal identity for itself, that we had to look back all the all the cool trends within the last few centuries? Like everyone else, I am guilty of this fault. In tune with the golden age of Hollywood, where everyone smoked looked absolutely glamorous, smoking has become a personal muse.

No matter what those anti-smoking people think about the subject, you can’t deny or ignore the sexual appeal of it. I’m no smoker, but shooting photos of people smoking, especially my good friend, Peter Li, sure makes me want to take up the death stick.

…or not. :)

My good friend, Peter Li, came back to visit America for the holidays and looking super fashionable as always. Tony Leung or In the Mood for Love strike a cord to anyone? During dinner, Peter mentioned that the one thing he can’t get used to about whenever he comes back to America is the fact that he can’t just light up a cigarette anywhere he wants. He also mentioned that 50% of the male population in China smoke. I gotta hand it to the Chinese, they sure know how to take it easy when they actually do take the time to do so….
